for doing that:
- Launch Outlook, and click on the Add account option by
going to the file menu.
- Click on Manual setup or additional server types
option.
- Select the POP or IMAP option.

- Click on Account Type, and select POP3.
- In the Incoming mail server box, type pop3.live
- In the Outgoing mail server box, type smtp.live
- De-select the require login using Secure
Password Authentication (SPA) selection.
- Click on Outgoing Server tab, and select my
outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication option.
- Once this is done, click on the advanced tab, and
select this server requires an encrypted connection (SSL).
- Select TLS for Use the following type of encrypted
connection just Outgoing server (SMTP).
- Go to the Test account settings and start the
test.
- Once it is complete, click on Finish.
