This is how you can configure MSN account on Outlook

Do you want to configure MSN account on Outlook? Then to your delight the process for doing that is simple and won’t kill much of your time. All you need to do is to contact MSN customer service to learn about the process
Following are the steps for doing that:
  • Launch Outlook, and click on the Add account option by going to the file menu.
  • Click on Manual setup or additional server types option.
  • Select the POP or IMAP option.
  • Once the POP and IMAP account setting window is displayed. Give  your MSN credentials (Name and Email address).
  • Click on Account Type, and select POP3.
  •  In the Incoming mail server box, type pop3.live
  •  In the Outgoing mail server box, type smtp.live
  • De-select the require login using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) selection.
  • Click on Outgoing Server tab, and select my outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication option.
  • Once this is done, click on the advanced tab, and select this server requires an encrypted connection (SSL).
  • Select TLS for Use the following type of encrypted connection just Outgoing server (SMTP).
  • Go to the Test account settings and start the test. 
  • Once it is complete, click on Finish.
