How to setup Gmail in outlook 2016 windows 10?

Follow the steps carefully and set up your account:
  • Sign In to your Gmail account. Now click on the Mail option.
  • Click on Settings options form the Gear Box icon on the upper right of the window.
  • Now from Settings option click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
  • Move to the IMAP Access section and select Enable IMAP.
  • Click on Save Changes to move forward.
  • Now open Outlook. Now click on the File tab.
  • Click Add Account from the Account Information section.
  • Now to add your Gmail account in Outlook, choose Email account from the Add Account dialog box.
  • Synchronization will be done automatically. Enter your Name, Address & Password and click on Next.
  • Click on Manual setup instead of E-mail Account, if the automatic process fails and click on Next to move forward.
  • Select POP or IMAP from the Choose Service section. Click on ‘Next’ now.
  • Now set the Incoming mail server as ‘googlemail.com’ and Outgoing mail server (SMTP) as ‘smtp.googlemail.com’.
  • Click on Outgoing Server tab from Internet E-mail Settings dialog box.
  • Enter correctly the Email settings and click on ‘Ok’.
  • Outlook will now login into the incoming mail server to test the accounts settings. You will receive a test email message. Click Close when it is done.
